Kootenay Teen Chef Club
The Kootenay Teen Chef Club is brought to you in partnership with the Trail & District Chamber of Commerce and the Trail’s IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market.
This virtual club brings an exciting, interactive experience to those 12-18 years old in Trail, Warfield, Montrose, Fruitvale, Rossland and Areas A + B.
The KTCC is proud to welcome 44 students for the 2023 season, 26 returning students and 18 new!
Here’s how it works:
Each month beginning in June there will be a culinary theme.
Club members will shop at the Farmers Market with their $24 worth of vouchers to then prepare a dish on theme and upload to the social media channel of their choice (Facebook, Instagram or TikTok) to receive their credit iron-on badge for the month. Parent / Guardian supervised social media accounts are strongly recommended.
There is a Facebook “inspo” and support group exclusively for club members and their supervising parents/guardians packed with great cooking tips and on-theme recipe ideas where participants can also ask questions and troubleshoot with fellow members and experts, as well as Instgram and TikTok updates for teens.
